  1. I am interested in knowing more about the lineage of George Palmer, son of Phoebe Draper and George Palmer. My gr gr gr gr grandparents were John and Anna (unknown) Palmer. They were living in Stokes Co., NC when their only son David was born in 1797. They also had nine daughters. I cannot find any earlier info about this family. There seems to be no record of John and Anna beging Quakers, yet it appears that all ten children married Quakers one of which was a Draper. Others spouses were Pearsons, Ratliffs, Ratcliffs, Bogues, etc. Most of this family left NC around 1815, went to Wayne Co., IN for a while and then my part of the Palmers settled in Henry Co., IN. My gr grandfather William I Palmer came to Whittier. California in 1909 and my grandparents Ernest and Julia Burcham Palmer and family followed him in 1915.

From John, mentioned above, my line is David, John P., William I., Ernest O. and my father Forest W. Palmer…..Monica Palmer Dean – TedMonicaD@cs.com
