William H. Roper Obituary

WM. H. ROPER DIES VERY SUDDENLY

Wm. H. Roper, aged 28, born and raised in this country, died very suddenly at his home in Maeser about 1:30 this morning from pneumonia. Mr. Roper was taken sick last Friday and steadily grew worse until the end came. He leaves a wife and three small children. Mr. Roper was conscious until the very last and within five minutes of the end was talking with relatives. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at ten o’clock from the Maeser ward with burial in the Rock Point cemetery.

Note: William Henry Roper was the eldest brother of Ross Edwin Roper and Argyle Wimmer Roper. William and Ross (brothers) married Jennie May Jones and Lacy Loviar Jones (sisters).
