Vineyard, Utah County – Ornal Vardin Roper, 55, died Dec. 23, 1976, at his home of cancer. Born Apr. 21, 1921, Emmett, Idaho, to Ross Edwin and Lacy Loviar Jones Roper, Married Cleo Harding Sept. 25, 1946, Salt Lake City Temple, Farmer and electrician for the Alpine School District.
Survivors: Wife, 4 sons and 1 daughter, Gail, Paul, Kim, Even, all of Vineyard; Mrs. Steve (Nila) Forham, Pleasant Grove, 6 grandchildren; 7 brothers and 1 sister, Oather, Provo; Von R., Ogden; Bernard, Boulder, Colo.; Morris, Salt Lake City; Voit, Orem; Marvel, Longmont, Colo.; Darson R., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Clifford (Amy) Cook, Vernal.
Funeral Tuesday 11 a.m., in the Vineyard Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, Monday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Tuesday prior to services. Burial in the Provo City Cemetary.
